Iain and I have been living at Cedar Hills Estate for one and a half years already, and at the beginning of this New Year, we have many projects that we are keen to undertake.
Living is a lot easier with our smaller home, fewer possessions, and no real maintenance, apart from the occasional light bulb that needs changing. Cleaning is very simple as we have appliances to handle the more tiresome chores, like a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble-dryer. I still have my old Floor Steamer, so I don't have to deal with wet mops and buckets. If there is a power failure, a water cut-off or a TV blackout in a storm, there are handy people to phone, or the Cedar Hills Management Team deals with it.
We feel as if we are perpetually on holiday.
